The Chicago Dutch Lions FC Women's team will play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The WPSL is a national women’s soccer league in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and is on the second level of women’s soccer in the United States soccer pyramid, below the NWSL. The WPSL is the largest women’s soccer league in the world (in terms of number of clubs - 133). The season is played between mid-May and mid-July.
Chicago Dutch Lions FC will be playing in the MidWest Conference in the East Region. Other participating clubs in the Conference are Chicago City SC (Chicago), Chicago Red Star Reserves (Chicago), FC Pride (Indianapolis), Green Bay Glory(Green Bay), Indy Saints (Indianapolis), Milwaukee Bavarian SC (Milwaukee) and Milwaukee Torrent (Milwaukee). The winner of the Conference advances to the play-offs.
